Do social media algorithms really matter?
The social media algorithms…do they really matter?
Yes, they do as you’re building out platforms and trying to get seen. You’ve got to know what works and what doesn’t.
And yes, there are metrics and numbers out there that are vanity numbers.
They are just for show…but here’s the thing…when they become valuable is essential to know.
And they become valuable when you know how to move people from liking and commenting and viewing posts, to DM’ing and reaching out to you.
Here’s just a peek at how a LinkedIn post did about a month ago (and yes, we’ve still got a lot of catching up to do in our DM’s as people reach out from this latest viral post)…
Want to know how we’re getting numbers like:
– 2500 views of post (updated on 12.3.21)
– 52 comments and 95 likes
– And then what you don’t see – 6 sales call requests coming in to the DMs
All without spending on LinkedIn Ads (those are expensive!). There’s a couple of things we do.
First, we build out our connections and followers on LinkedIn. We’re somewhere around 23k right now.
Next, we nurture those connections and segment them based on interest. Sales Navigator is amazing for this, and worth every penny.
And third, we beefed up our profile so that people know what we’re up to and how to reach out to us. Conversations do happen through this medium, you just have to know how to start them or get them started for you.
Out of the 3 above suggestions, the hardest thing to do right now on LinkedIn is to get connections, yet this is our first suggestion because it is the most important.
Want to learn how we do this, and are helping our clients get 30-50 aligned connections per day? We’ve got an event coming up in a week that is a 1/2 hands on workshop.
We’re only taking 15 people for this event, and at least 9 of the spots are already filled (and we have a waitlist of 25 people as well). Want to apply to see if you’re the right fit for the last 8 spots?
Here’s the link to apply and get on the waitlist: https://bit.ly/LI-Dec-training
But hurry! We start on December 10th and spots are filling fast. If you want to fast track your ticket purchase, skip the application and just DM me to answer a couple of questions to see if you’re a good fit.
Thanks for reading the first edition of Light at the End of the Funnel newsletter! We’re going to post a little something for you daily, as content is king, and boy do I have a lot to say and share with you about digital marketing!
Till tomorrow,
Danielle
