It’s tough to build your connections fast right now on LinkedIn with the restrictions. That’s why automation is important.

But not just any automation tool will do. You want one that integrates well and acts as a human…and also doesn’t overwhelm.

You also want one that can do a little of the manual work for you.

We have a built-in application that we use for ourselves and our clients. It’s not just the application, we have to use a very specific process with it which is:

This is where most people get tripped up and when they hear automation, they immediately think it’s going to be slimy.

Not the case – we use automation to take some things off our plate and then we filter afterwards and create organic reach out with opportunities for further connection.

It’s one of the simplest things, yet because we’re not in person, we tend to complicate conversations. Overthink what to say and perfection ourselves into awkwardness.

One tip – talk out loud first before typing as if that person is in front of you. Then type what you said out loud into your DM, hit send and see how you are received.
